TIDBINBILLA

We took a trip to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve
to let me have a look around.
It is a beautiful area, part of the A.C.T.
nestled among the Brindabella Mountains.
For a nominal fee, visitors can spend the day
picnicking and wandering through the forests and
nature trails. Kangaroos lounge in the sun,

and emus calmly walk across the street
with their little ones.

There is a fenced area with a koala observation walk,
and we were lucky enough to spot 3
out of the 10 to 15 that are in the reserve.

Once again, koalas are a nocturnal animal,
so they were all sleeping HIGH up
in the trees, and my little camera had difficulty
picking them out real well.
